High-quality gardening products made from PP recyclates derived from the Yellow Bin
We have been working successfully and trustingly with the plant and decorative pot manufacturer OSKO for over ten years. OSKO uses the injection molding process to produce new flower and plant pots from our Systalen® PP recyclates.
An exciting live demonstration of flower pot production could be seen at the 2024 ARBURG Technology Days.
However, OSKO not only uses recycled plastics in its production, but also pays great attention to the recyclability of its products. By using colors and additives, the company turns grey Systalen® polypropylene recyclate into new plant pots in many different colors which are 100% NIR-detectable and therefore recyclable. This enables that they can be easily recycled again via the German Yellow Bin or Yellow Bag and is an important building block in closing the recycling loop.
The recyclability of OSKO flower pots is also certified by the Institut cyclos-HTP .
As the headquarters of the family-owned company is located very close to our Systec Plastics GmbH in Hörstel, where the Systalen® PP recyclates are produced, a cooperation of our companies is also very obvious for ecological and logistical reasons.
