Big station in Frankfurt am Main: Nestlé Deutschland AG presents the Nestlé Supplier Award every two years and "recognizes only the best suppliers for their outstanding achievements in support and cooperation (...) through innovation, sustainability and an excellent overall performance".

This is the second time that Grüner Punkt is among the award winners – Andreas Kappel, Sales Manager Commercial Development, was able to accept the bronze award at the festive reception in the Hessian metropolis. "The award makes me very proud and, of course, represents a terrific team effort that we make for Nestlé," says Kappel. "Working with Nestlé is something very special, because when it comes to packaging sustainability, Nestlé is one of the – and has been for many decades."

Der Grüne Punkt Der Grüne Punkt has been a partner in packaging licensing under the Packaging Act since the very beginning, and not only advises Nestlé on sustainable packaging design, but also supplies recyclates and assists in their use. Another important topic is the advancement of coffee capsules to recyclability and circularity. "These are all exciting topics that advance the circular economy as a whole," Kappel said. "Thank you for going the extra mile with us!" the certificate reads. Kappel is happy to pick up on that: "I look forward to more extra miles with this innovative customer."
